A Grand Teacher

Jesus did not have all of the pain free choices in front of him. He might have, but He knew which ones He was to take. In the garden, the night that was totally filled with deep agony, He asked His Father to release Him from the next steps that were before him. Jesus saw these steps.  God said No and that those steps were to be taken.
We are not to place God into our will. We are to place our steps into God's will.

When an obstacle comes up, our first choice to is to see our own interpretation or how we think we understand God. A memorized  scripture from days gone by quickly comes to mind, the problem is solved.
This may be the result.
Hearts may be broken. Deeper wounds may fester, Lies cover up truth because it is easier.
The simple way instead of the real way is pursued.
 Is 48:12
This is what the Lord says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.

Jesus knew in the Garden that He had the right to ask His Father if there could be another way to Conquer Evil of every person from the beginning of time to the end. Doesn't that sounds ridiculous? Jesus had that closeness with His Papa to ask. Jesus asked His Father if there was another way to go instead of the horrible  road of beating and crucifixion that lay before him the next day.  God knew what was the best. He knew what had to happen.

It was because of  having such intimate connection before the terrible day, Jesus was continually  able to walk in loving communion with His Father. He shared  freedom desired for all mankind. Jesus touched  untouchables, gave sight to  blind, loved children, talked to women as equals. Even women who were the lowest the of sinners.

Jesus constantly asked Father to bless people. The love they received in return was a reflection of God.Jesus was being an example showing it was not only from permission but our very lives to individually walk in that relationship with the Lord God.

Can we see this as an application to our lives?  To really listen to the Teacher means we can ask things. God will direct us. Teaching what is best for us and out of love, will respond with the necessary answer. Sometimes  "NO".

On that last night, Jesus asked three times,  God saw the big picture.  Even though it was very painful, God still directed Jesus "way he should go". God was Jesus strength.  It was a benefit to us. Jesus did not stay in the grave.

Are you willing to allow the one to teach you what is best for you and direct you to the fantastic path that lies ahead? This is life . The Lord and Creator of all is a Grand Teacher.
